You lot are so lucky!
I bought myself an ipod and Alan Carr's book. MIL bought me nightshirts and socks. I got Lindt chocs off the girls. The girls had sooooo much, it was ridiculous. We were restrained but the rest of the family go mad because they are the only nieces/grandchildren.

I think money spent for ourselves for once are the best spent lol and at least you know you will like what you get :rotfl:

I think that's the problem with kids, eventually they dont appreciate what they get as they have too much :confused3

I absolutely agree. I ask our families not to buy them so much every year! Having 3 girls means that they have EVERYTHING! It was a struggle to think what to buy them this year, as their toys are kept in nice condition and I pass everything on. I try not to spoil them but my MIL goes crazy. :confused3

I totally agree. I've got 2 girls and the oldest was so careful with things they all look brand new. I bring things out of the loft every now and then and she thinks its new. We now have 5 baby annabels in our house and DH wanted to buy another one so she could have her own (she got one last year :confused3 ) Opted for baby chou chou and what has she spent the last 2 days doing - pushing the cat around the house in her new pram :rotfl2:

:lmao:
We have wrapped up 'old' stuff for my middle DD, and we'll do the same for youngest DD.:rotfl: The thing my two eldest played with the most on Christmas Day? A 75p whoopee cushion.:confused3

Quite right - loads of people buy second hand stuff on ebay and give that as prezzies, so why not your own second hand stuff?

It's very enviromentally friendly too. :teeth:

I do this too!:rotfl: I would rather have excellent quality second hand than cheap new stuff - but that's just me.

I bought myself some more Christmas presents in the sales: dressing gown, scarf, jeans and a hat.:thumbsup2

I got for Crimbo,

Take That's new album, Wall.E dvd, Pj's, underwear and socks, pj, a nice warm poncho, 4 Disney tradtions, DLRP photo album, Disney cookies from NY, Sweets oh and a cookbook LOL.

Saw my sister yesterday so I got more presents. I got Dark Knight dvd, Julie Walters book & a dvd of the video footage she took when we went to NY 4 years ago & I have been asking for.

Looks like quite a few people got Wall-e for Xmas!

Hee - of course!

Jack and I watched the first half yesterday. Blu-ray is amazing! Looks better than it did in the cinema.

I love Wall-E so much!! But now I've got the song stuck in my head!!

"Put on your Sunday clothes, There's lots of world out there!!"

I got Wall-E on dvd too! We watched it on xmas day, I love the Presto Pixar short on there too.

I also got from Henry: 2 tickets to see x factor live in Feb (this was a surprise and I'm very excited about seeing this hehe!), sex and city special edition dvd, a really pretty address and birthday book (as I don't have either and I am very disorganised - as writing my xmas cards proved!), HSM3 dance game for the wii (great fun!) and Sim City Creator for the wii (not played this yet this was also a surprise). I also got a cute stocking off Henry full of sweets and things.:goodvibes

I also got - far too many selection boxes, a new alarm clock (we really need a nice new one so my mum and dad got me this), socks, pjs, and smellies. My dad has given us some money to go crazy in the sales with but I am going to keep it to use to help pay for our redecorating after xmas - boring!
