How long do you think you can store this in the refridgerator? Big graduation party next week and my list is short for making things and my niece wants chocolate chip cookies along with the buckeyes (she is going to Ohio State), but I wanted to do all of the mixing one night and the rest over the next couple of nights. What do you think?

I've kept it up to a week, but to save yourself even more time...

When the batter is done, scoop it onto wax paper lined cookie sheets and freeze. Once the raw "cookies" are frozen just dump into a plastic freezer bag. Then you can bake however many you want at one time.

The cookie dough should be okay in the fridge for about 5-6 days, we always bake more cookies than we need and freeze them. Take them out of the freezer on the day of the party, and they are great. I even have been know to eat them right out of the freezer. Like a frozen treat.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to figure my schedule for baking/candy making.

DW used to sell cookies to local coffee shops and bakeries in town and she would keep her dough in the fridge for five days before baking. Anything longer than that and she would freeze the dough.
