Lol- I do the same thing.... I keep saying I'm done but then I keep buying things!

Aww..... A keepsake... Thats nice. Robert and me don't have one from our first Christmas as a couple, but my Mum bought us a lovely one last Christmas for our first Christmas together, and then Robert bought one too. We've got our DLRP decoration from this year, and I'm hoping we can carry on getting them for every year we're together....

Bob xoxox

I got my niece one from DLRP for her first christmas & Karen from here kindly got me one for my nephew when she went with Emma the other week.

I have trained my niece well, she saw the DLRP advert on tv the other day & said to her mum that they can all go back & I would have to come too as I know how to get there:lmao:

Good afternoon! Have just been packing for my weekend away. Trying to squeeze everything into a small bag (with wheels) this time and bring a rucksack as extra. Last year, I brought a big bag (with no wheels) and it was a nightmare to carry it.

Sort of, I keep saying I have bought enough for them but keep seeing other things:rotfl2:

Same here!! I've just bought a couple more jigsaw puzzles for the kids. There's a new shop which has just opened here today called Clas Ohlson or something like that (first store outside Scandinavia apparently) - it's like a "homey" type shop (home stuff, electronics, kitchen stuff, etc etc). Walked in there today and saw they had Mickey Mouse Clubhouse puzzles and I bought two. Was also very tempted to buy a portable DVD player as first 250 customers who walked through the door can buy one for £20 instead of £70. I ummed and ahhed about it and put it back in the end. Don't really have the need for it as we can bring our laptop. Bet I'll regret it tomorrow.

Hope you're all having a good day so far.

Ohh and I've also received my temp share certificate today. Yay!

Are you going anywhere nice for your weekend away?

oooh, is that in Croydon Alice?

I haven't been shopping there in a couple of months, keep being lazy and opting for Redhill.

Right i'm going to sort out what I need to do for dinner. I maybe on here later depends on when I get back from the cinema.

Bye:goodvibes

Yeah, good old Butlins for one of their 'themed' weekends (going away with 4 other mums). It's the "Skool Reunion" (we went last year as well - 80's Madness which was great) - Right Said Fred and Five Star will be there, along with other good tribute bands I hope. There was a Freddie Mercury one last year and it was the best of the lot!

Yep. It's where George & Books Etc used to be in the Whitgift Centre (I really do miss George though). It's a nice little shop to browse around I guess. Don't think I'll actually buy anything each time I go in. I read it in the Croydon Advertiser online today that it's known as the "men's creche" in Sweden as wives are happy to leave their hubbys to browse in there while they get on with their shopping lol.

Evening all,
I just got my Christmas trees and decorations down from the loft (I didn't realise I have 6 full boxes of Disney decorations!!) and I am debating putting up my main tree right now! Pete is grumbling that it isn't December yet though!
