How did it go Small World - I could never stand up infront of anyone and give a presentation !!!! It makes me ill thinking about it

It went well - I was nervous and first but then got into it. Ive another in 3 weeks in London where my Manager will be there watching me

Im home from my work conference in Birmingham - very very tired. I was working in my hotel room til midnight last night writing my presentation for today. Then its been a long day today.

Hope you're now having a cuppa (or possibly wine lol) and a well-deserved rest.

I'm back from my day at the London Science museum.

I am annoyed today as the train times are changing next month and now I can get to my 9am seminar on time! Can't get an earlier train as have to take DD to school!

Oh no! Is that 9am seminar just once a week? Can you drop DD at a friend's house for that one morning?

We had a great day thanks, although we had a bit of a nightmare. One of the kids got really sick and we had to call a paramedic. Luckily his mum was helping on the trip and he got better when the paramedic was looking at him. But for a while I thought I was heading off to a central London A&E in an ambulance!!

But after that, we had loads of fun.

Its just once a week however I haven't really got anyone to drop DD. Going to have to speak to my lecturer tomorrow.

last time I went to the science museum I wasnt impressed, but I went in the middle of renovations. I love the natural history museum though!

The science museum is ace. I have been so may times. It is really good now the ronovations are nearly complete. The hands on galleries for the children are really good. I love the Natural History too and the British museum is my other favourite. I could spend all day looking at the Ancient Egyption things in there. My other favourite London museum are the cabinet war rooms, the are still set up like they were at the end of the war. Very interesting.

Karen, glad your day worked out in the end, some parts of the science museum are great (the room with the trains and cars etc) and some are boooring (boats, the wierd side wing!) - jack and i are yet to take kids with us though so we cant really do the super fun stuff!
