Not bad thanks, i'm enjoying my couple of days off work too. Wish I didn't have to go back

Evening - we went shpooing in Aberdeen today. I got nothing !!!!!! Not even anything in the Disneystore

Kids spent their Build a Bear vouchers so they were happy

I tried to go to Bluewater today but they were queuing back on the motorway so didn't bother. I have had a look in a few shops & nothing has taken my fancy so far.

I got myself a skincare set from Virgin Vie in the sale, and a box of chocs.... Lol!

Oh no! I wanted to go to Bluewater on new years day....

It was fine when it used to be a 15 min drive, but now its like an hour....might go to london instead....

My parents went late afternoon on Saturday & go there no problems. So maybe try to either go 1st thing or much later in the day

I took Mum to the local retail park today (Currys, Argos and B&Q) - we timed it right for arriving but by the time we were leaving some two hours later we had to queue to get off the car park. Still she got a couple of great bargains so she was happy.

Evening guys, I just got back from an evening at the Panto!! It was very funny!!

I'm rather pleased with myself and Kyra, she has been dry all night for the past week.

Potty training wasnt as bad as i expected it to be lol. Plus i now save £6 a week on pull ups lol.

She. may have the ocassional mishap. But well done you for getting Kyra trained so quickly.

Good morning everyone! Another frosty morning here. Am off to my brother's place in a couple of hours for a late lunch. Think he's doing a roast. Should be nice, esp for the kids. Think they need to see other kids now - it has been a long time since they've seen or played with other kids lol.

Yay, well done to you & Kyra! Adam's nowhere near dry at night but I'm not rushing that one considering that I only started potty training him just before his 3rd birthday in September lol. He has done very well though and I'm glad I waited till he was older - I expected him to be a nightmare compared to his sister and was prepared for months and months of stress (as my friends had with potty training their boys) but he proved me wrong.

Cool !! Which panto was that? We have Peter Pan here (with Brian Blessed) and whilst Louise knows the story, she's not really into Peter Pan as such. I wanted to take them to see Cinderella in Bromley (or is it Wimbledon?!) but it's soooo expensive for a family ticket.

Ahh hope you're better soon. Is it going to be another quiet day at work? When you get home, try gargling with warm salty water. I remember someone telling me about this years ago and I used to do it. Then I've just read it again somewhere recently. It's meant to get rid (or prevent the spread) of any viruses/germs which are lodged in your throat, so you'll have to gargle quite vigorously. It might or might not help but worth a try.
