What's everyone's plans for today?

I finished all my food shopping yesterday so today I'm going to finish cleaning and tidying the house ~ does everyone else feel they have to obsessively clean/tidy the house before Christmas and also before going on holiday?? My DH reckons these are the only times our house is ever tidy, cheeky so-and-so.

My DDs are off to the cinema to see Twilight this afternoon so I'm looking forward to a couple of hours chilling by myself before DH gets home from work about 3pm. Then tonight there's a new Midsomer on ~ I love the Midsomers, one of my fave programmes!

Every year at about 4 we go to my cousins for a get together and swap gifts..I made her a disney hamper!! Its usually the kids that just get gifts but she has had a bad time this year so I'm trying to be nice ....

she will love it!!haha!

I'm working as always

At least christmas isn't mid week this year, meaning that I'll get a 4 day break from work, rather than just 2 days before I'm back to work.

Unfortunately, it's only really a 1 or 2 day break from certain things, because I've got a uni assignment due on the 12th of January and something's in my way so to speak between about 3rd and 8th. Can't think what though As such, I'll have to start researching and writing my assignment either Saturday or maybe even Boxing day.

Morning! Yeah, I need to clean & tidy the place up as well (for me, it's to start rather than finish lol). I have the pre-DLP mess to clear up as well. Argh. I also have to pop out for a bit to get some petrol (highly unlikely that we'll go anywhere in the next couple of days but just in case).

I am sooo excited about giving Jack his present tomorrow!! EEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

It feels like I've been kicked in the mouth! But I'm not ill if you know what I mean so all is good!!

For breakfast I had to suck pickled onion monster munch!

Nothing a few pain killers can't fix!

I'm around, on and off. Trying to divide my time between clearing the place up, writing the restaurant reviews and playing with the kids And now, Louise has just come upstairs to remind me that I promised to paint her finger & toe nails. Meant to do it this morning - well, she forgot to remind me lol. Peter should be back soon as well. So I better go get her nails done and make it look as if I've done quite a bit of work today

Just been watching films and had a chinese at my parents this afternoon, oh and booked DLRP for next month this morning so had a good day.

Sounds lovely, my three and I are going to follow our tradition and sit and play a board game soon, I got Disney's Destination Animation game and we haven't played it yet.

Oh I LOVE that game, we've also got Disney Monopoly, a EuroDisney game, unfortunately some of the pieces are missing but not enough that we can't enjoy it and Winnie the Pooh: Friends of the Forest. Our favourite is Disney Storyboards now we haven't played that in quite a while.

We had a lovely day at the zoo and Ive been sorting stuff ready for tomorrow - peeling veg etc and have some last minute wrapping to do so I'll be on and off here this evening.
