OT - Chat Chat and More Chat

I really really miss Woolworths and Disney Store I have to get a birthday pressie for my friend's little boy (he's into Bob the Builder & Roary) and there're no toy shops in town now. Well, there's Gamley's in Allders but it's so small, it's rubbish lol. There's Argos but they don't do the individual Bob stuff. There's TK Maxx but it's pot luck what you'll find in there. That means, I'll have to drive out to Toys R Us (ok, it's not that far - about 10 mins drive - but I hate having to drive just to go to that one shop lol) or Smyths which is about 20 mins drive away.

Just the other day I said to OH "I am sorry that you do not understand that I am always right"

It doesn't even get used in that context in this house!

My Dad used to give flowers, choccies, pressies of all kinds, but never said the S word! In nearly 30 years together, my Mum only heard him say sorry three times!

just back from a 4 mile walk with my sister. she is trying to push me to get motivated. so she has been super nice to me all day. she watched ash while i had a bath and then straightened my hair for me. i feel all pampered lol.

actually the walk was nice. i put ash in the quinny so it doesnt even feel like you are pushing anything and i could walk forever if im talking to someone

I've just watched Relocation, Relocation. I fell in love with the little 1 bed cottage they brought.
I would really love to live in a tiny village surrounded by countryside, in fact living in the middle of nowhere really appeals to me as well. Don't know why though.

Oh i don't know, i think i would be ok. Well, not being able to drive might be a slight hindrance but apart from that it would be fine

My friend has just texted me to say her niece has been rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke, she is only about 18

My friend has had 3 strokes in her late 20s and early 30s each time she got pregnant - its scary !!

Thanks, she is waiting for a CT scan & MRI. She complained of a headache for 2 weeks & then collapsed today. We all went to the cinema on Saturday and she fine then. It has scared her boyfriend as she has had 5 fits whilst in the hospital.
