we're flying with BA but prices for virgin had gone up by about the same amount! thank god for expedia lol

I flew with BA last year, they were fine - I remember been given some Cadburys chocolate with our meals which was yummy! Just remember to do the 24 online hour checkin, all the good seats go early!

thanks for the advice!!! i don't want a rubbish seat, i always seem to get stuck in the middle! how does it work? do you have to print off your own boarding passes and then you can go straight through to departures?

I remember the days when online check in wasnt around lol.

It's great! 24 hours before your flight you check in - print off your ticket and you can bypass queues of people at the airport.
You can also move yourselves from the seats you've been allocated to better ones.

you still need to check your luggage in at the airport though so still may have to queue.

i just looked on BA's website, you can also check in online then pick up your boarding passes from kiosks at the airport, which i will probably do to avoid forgetting my boarding pass/leaving it in the car/ losing it on route

I always get mine printed out at the airport as I have a rubbish printer so the scanner probably wouldn't be able to read the bar code.

Can I ask a cheeky question, please? How much did people pay for flights to Florida and when are they going? I'm curious what sort of savings can be made if a trip was booked separately. I am not hiding any grand plans - just being nosey for the distant future!

Can I ask a cheeky question, please? How much did people pay for flights to Florida and when are they going? I'm curious what sort of savings can be made if a trip was booked separately. I am not hiding any grand plans - just being nosey for the distant future!

My flights - direct with viring for september would be £415 each (in the sale were £308)

but we are going with delta, via NYC (and DC) for a few days then nyc-wdw and then wdw-london and we'll be £725 for the two of us - good eh?

You can get really cheap flights to sanford but i want to fly into orlando intl as then we can use the free disney bus. (Magical Express)

That is a good price. We are tied to school holidays, so I think I'm looking at about £2500 - £3000 for the 5 of us. It's way more than we could afford. I am determined that we will go to WDW one day, but it's going to take a few years to save.

Same as Joolz, its going to take me ages to save but its deffo worth it.

For our Christmas 2010 trip we are budgeting over £1000 a person (to fly premium economy) which is crazy, but we accept we are flying peak times!! My friend went this past Christmas and they flew Premium Economy which was near £1500 a ticket!!!!

The younger two wouldn't realise they weren't in DLRP and I wouldn't fancy the long haul flight with very young children. I was thinking 6, 10 and 14 might be better, which gives me 5 years to save. Which would be £1000 per year.

Kyra will be 7 when we go, but that means no dlp trips untill we have been wdw.

Which resort are you looking to stay at Julez? £5000 for a package for 5 is good value.

I know what you mean about the no more WDW trips Emma. We won't be back at DLRP until after we have been to WDW either. Then I'll probably want to go back to Disneyland after that once they have done the California Adventure makeover by 2013. So I guess no DLRP for me for many years to come!!

What keeps me going is that DLRP will always be there when we get back, its not going anywhere. Same with all other Disney parks.
