I'm a bundle of nerves today as Ellie is supposidly going in to start the enduction procedure today so I'm on tenter hooks waiting for the call

Morning all,

I had a card for Valentines Day, Lottie did better out of it than I did! Am hoping that this week will be better than last week and it's alreay better - no school runs this week wooohooooo! Just need to find a new car and sort all the insurance stuff out and I will be much happier lol!

Good Luck Cap'n and Ellie, I hope everything goes really well for you both and that Kacees baby brother makes an appearance soon!

Not yet...I had a sneaky look at them at Bluewater on Saturday and I'm 99% sure that I'm going for what you suggested Bob as it looked really nice. Need to order it this week though don't I!!

Did I miss something

I honestly can't remember if I posted on here! Lottie and Neil were in a car crash on Weds, they're both OK with a bit of whiplash and bruising, but I think that the insurance company will write the car off as uneconomical to repair, so we're car hunting again. It only passed the MOT on Tues having had some work done on it and then it was hit on Weds! We have a courtesy zafira atm which I like, but Neil thinks it's a bus!!

You guys really aren't having much luck with motorized transport...First Neils bike and now the car!!!

The main thing is that they are ok, the car is replaceable but they certainly aren't!!

Thanks! Things have been mad here trying to get everything sorted and make sure everyone is OK that I lose track of who I'd told! Good job that we didn't book DLRP for March because we wouldn't be going and it now looks like our next trip fund is going ot be renamed the new car fund!

Yep, the nice lasy in Bluewater even put it together for me so that I could see it. It was £27 dearer than online though!!

Thanks, it's been a bit of a nightmare! Luckily I'm on annual leave for a few days, so have been able to chase things up and start having a look round, just could do without the hassle of it all! Annoying thing is that we can't prove that the woman was speeding, but we're fairly certain she was otherwise she would've been able to stop in time.

I think I was in a worse state than Lottie and Neil, I was hyperventilating down the phone when Neil rang me, Lottie was upset that she couldn't go to nursery, but loved riding in the recovery truck lol!

Kids are wicked aren't they! When I took Kacee to Nursery in the snow we skidded down the hill to his Nursery sideways...I thought I was going to die and Kacee was sat in the back laughing and saying 'Again Daddy@!

My valentines started off badly. Gave my OH his card and he looked said it wasn't his birthday yet Needless to say no valentine for me . Anyway I went in a serious huff with him going on about commercialisation and being dictated to by the media about when he should tell me he loved me.

He obviously was feelin guilty. Heres the best bit when he came home he said I can book an adults only weekend trip to guess where...................

Only problem is I dont know if I could reallly not take the kids. I'm feelin guilty just thinkin about it. I've never even left my 4 year old for a night never mind go to france (However I have spent the weekend pricing flights etc.)
