I'm very envious now of all you lucky DIS'ers heading out to DLP in the next 3 months.

With the change in the weather in the mornings, that crisp cool feeling, I'm reminded that October (Halloween season) through to December (Christmas season) is my favourite time to be in The Magic :goodvibes.

I can't fit in another trip this year, so enjoy your morning walk to the parks in the cold Autumn/winter sun (hopefully ;)).

Funny how just something little can remind you off so much !!
The smell of a open fire makes me want to be in SL so much.
Crepes make me think why are you not at disney. Good memories :goodvibes
Only 6mth and we will be there.

OMG Elaine that is so freaky.
Yesterday morning I said to Liam that on mornings like this I always feel like I should be walking through Disney Village. I've never had that feeling in Summer probably because until this year we hadn't experienced the Summer season, but I know that this feeling is going to last now until next April/May.

I honestly don't know when I'll be back, I do really want to take my nephew for Halloween and Christmas season but finances won't allow for that this year and the sensible part of me says wait until after Ratatouille so Autumn/Winter 2014 but I don't know if I can hold out that long :(

Autumn is our absolute favourite time to be in Disney - we are very lucky to be going back there in 39 sleeps! I really and truley can not wait - my first thought every morning at the moment is Disney related lol - surely there must be therapy for people like me:rotfl2:

Oh Elaine I know what you mean - theres something about bundling up in coats and scarves that screams we should be at DLP. But absence makes the heart grow fonder (So says Lady Cluck in Robin Hood :thumbsup2) and waiting until the Rat arrives isn't a bad idea IMO.
We will be going in October, May and thats it for us until at the very least early 2016 :( Writing that just made me a little sad :worried:
Why don't you have a Disney night? Make Croques and hot choc and a couple of glowtinis - drown your sorrows in food and alcohol :rotfl: sounds nice actually I may just do it myself! Hope the DisBlues lift soon xx

me too! on crisp sunny mornings I often say to the boy 'this would be such a nice day to be at dlp'.

I have to travel through St pancras most days so its very tempting!

Aha, so I'm not the only one then ;).

I know - as soon as I change from shoes to socks and boots for the winter, I'll be thinking I should be getting my DLP bag out - not going to happen this year though, maybe next year.

I bet it is :goodvibes !

Great minds and all that! Been thinking about going for Halloween next year ever since the colder mornings! :)

I absolutely love Halloween in DLP ... but last year it was so so cold :scared1::scared1: ( I really don't like cold weather ) Last year we weren't prepared for the cold, having visited in much warmer Octobers previously, that we had to go to Val D'europe and purchase fleeces, gloves, scarves, tights for under jeans and thermal tops for under our regular clothing. We also probably boosted the DLP finances immensely by the amount of hot chocolate we drank.

Even though I love Halloween so much this year I booked September hoping for better weather.

I also love June / July in DLP when the park stays open late and it is lovely and warm.
