Does anyone know about the "3 stars of the game" in hockey? & how they are picked? & if they have any relation to the All Star game?

Not sure if they still do this or not, but after every hockey game, they pick the three best players of the game -first star, second star, third star. Not sure if it has to be one offensive, one defensive, and one goalie, or what. No, it doesn't have anything to do with the All Star game, that I'm aware of.

Actually, I was updating my TR from Halloween and got so into it, I forgot I was logged in. It had been so long since I'd gotten a question that when it finally ding donged, it scared me!!!
