Is anyone an Expeditor? I just wondered if anyone was making money off this position. The pay is VERY puny for them, but then they don't have to FIND the answer either, just point it in the right direction.

is this a legitament thing to do in the afternoons?? I went to the web site and it asked for my social and all, and i just wanna make sure beofre i fill it out!!!popcorn::

I'm a transcriber and expeditor. I have not made less than $100 per week since before Labor Day. They don't pay much for either position, however, when you can get 2 or 3 queries a minute it adds up pretty quickly. :dance3:

ChaCha is a mess. I finally get them to turn my on so I can start making money:cool1: :cool1:

Now they are broke down. You can't see what you are making lol

Yes. It's great. No problems getting paid. No identify theft. It's legit.
Right now the system issues are driving me nuts, though.

I was able to access my account this morning, briefly before it died. My work from last was showing, tho I wasn't able to verify if the numbers were right. All I know is my $ value when up. I really hope all these issues don't prevent me from getting TG again this week.

Can you go in with a different email and try again if you failed the test LOl I think i just rushed through it:upsidedow

I just signed up and am finishing up the registration process. Can anyone tell me what they make on average a week and how many hours it takes them? Thanks!

Yes me! I actually like it even though the pay is puny..........its super easy and fast...........i just started on thursday, my goal was $5 a day, but I am going to try $10 a day........I think that will be easy for me........

I was disappointed not to get in as a guide, but this is ok, i did send an email to see if i could test for guide and they said i could but when i try i just get ex questions, so at some point i will see if i can try again but for now i like this.

How did you sign up to do two roles? when i tried to do the guide test it gave me expeditor questions.
not even sure if i can do expeditor and guide.

Yep! Totally legit! I've made (and gotten paid) over $1000 so far.

I make about $6 an hour. Just now, after 3 months, I'm starting to move that average up a little, but for the first 3 months (since I started making top guide) its been a steady $6 an hour. I do about 3 hours a day, so its about $120 a week or more.

Finally sat down & finished the simulator test last week! Got my acceptance email as a guide on Sunday! Yay!! Can't wait to start working!!

I'm an expeditor. I'm still new, so I'm not super fast yet, but it's fun. I've made about $30 in the last week, just doing a little bit here and there.
I know expeditors make less money, but the thought of being a guide gives me a headache :o I've done so much research in college that I feel like it's just more homework when I have to look something up..

I signed up for Cha Cha last Tuesday and did the ten questions and logged out. I spent the rest of the week waiting for the email that said I was in or out. The first test with the multiple choice questions I got 100%. I kept logging in to the Underground but not to the Universe. Today it let me log on to the Universe and I've been answering questions (albiet not alot of them but some, maybe 20 in the last 3 hours). Does this mean I'm approved? It says the Dashboard is down and to stay off if you can but does that mean I should be logged out an not getting questions? I'm enjoying but confused.:confused3 :confused3

The dashboard is back up. They just haven't updated the message. Go ahead and check.

I don't seem to be making the amounts of money that others are, I'm making far less. :sad1: My queries are coming in back to back so I suppose it's just a matter of being faster.

I think I'm doing better though. I couldn't answer anything in under 3 minutes my first couple of nights. Now tonight I've gotten most in at 3 minutes and some even in at less than 2 minutes.

The sports queries really slow me down. I don't know anything at all about sports. Oh, and weather slows me down too.

One good thing - I can wear my jammies and work!

I have attempted to register as a guide. I verified my email address and was sent a link to log on to the Search University so I could start studying and take the guide tests. I keep getting errors that say "Sorry, that username or password was wrong.". I tried doing combinations of the user ID, in case I had bad spelling when I registered and such. Since they have my SSN, I can't re-register (That would be the easy thing!).

No replies to requests I've sent through the "Contact ChaCha" through their website. The 800 number is of no help- they just point you back to the website to send a notice through the "Contact ChaCha" page.

I'm getting frustrated, but trying not to loose hope (it's been 6 days since started the journey to become a guide).

I'm also curious how other guides plan on paying for taxes for this year. As a contractor, ChaCha won't be withholding... does that seem to worry anyone? (I hate when I owe the state or feds).

Thanks for your assistance :dance3:

I usually can answer 50 in an hour, for sports I think it helps to just keep ESPN.com's scoreboard up all day. It it easy to copy and paste from the scoreboards, and sports questions usually take me less then 30 seconds. I am not sure why weather holds you up (the searching or the formatting), but what I usually search for is just weather and the city or weather and the zipcode. When the page pulls up I scroll down to the 5 day forcast and I can copy and paste from the description for the day. Usually the description in the day is short enough and required very little formatting. Sports and weather are 2 of my favorite things to get because they take such little time. Hope this might help you a little.
