They lowered the minimum to 200 searches a week, and you get a "by" week if you've made top guide for the 4 weeks prior (for vacations or whatever).

I just came zipping over to make sure everyone saw the changes too. Good news!

Plus, it is retroactive, so if you missed 300 last week, but still made 200, you've still got a shot at Top Guide this week. I was pretty happy to see the compromises. The Top Guide emails/announcements should come out tomorrow.
Maybe I'll take tomorrow off - I've done 250 searches already, trying to hit 300 by Wednesday!

I am so happy that they have lowered the minimum requirements. My baby is due September 21, and I was starting to get nervous about taking time off and having the pay cut. I now have time to plan for it!

What new guide console are you talking about? Everything looks the same to me. Were we supposed to download something new?

I think ChaCha really listened to us. They developed a pay policy that should make most people happy. Now I have to see if I made top guide last week. The universe just shut down on me a few times and I got a few extremely vulgar questions I reported as abuse. So, we'll see. I'll be annoyed since I answered almost 350 questions last week. What does everyone think about the new Expeditor role?

I don't understand the get by 1 week. If you make top guide for 3 weeks, you are okay to take the 4th week off for vacation or whatever. I thought top guide was on a week by week basis. So if I take a week off, it wouldn't matter.

Can someone please explain? I was considering doing Chacha 1 or 2 weeks out of the month and make top guide those weeks, then take the rest off. How will that effect me?

If you make top guide for 3 or 4 weeks in a row, (I think its 4) and then you go on vacation the following week and do less than 200 queories, you still carry over the 20 cent pay the following week (wee after vacation).

Hello everyone
I just took my SIM test last night. I am sooo nervous. How long does it take to find out how you did? I keep checking. I see that 4 of my 10 have little smilie faces and the word great by them. I guess that means that they were okay. Will they do that with all of your questions or just the ones they are grading? Any tips once I get in? This sounds like a great program.
