congrats! it's addictive, isn't it? i usually make $15-$20 a day and it feels SOOOOO good to be making money again after being a SAHM for almost 9 years! so far i've bought EVERYTHING my DD needed for school (ok, her daddy bought her 2 packs of socks, lol).

I have a question about the payment methods for those of you already familiar with it. I chose the Pay Me Now method because I'm unsure how much I'll be able to work, and therefore maybe not hit the $100 minimum for the monthly deposit method. How exactly does the debit card work? Exactly like the one I have attached to my checking account? I was reading some of the fine print and I noticed a $5 fee for outgoing debit transactions. Does that mean that if I were to withdraw from an ATM, I'd be charged $5 on top of whatever I withdraw?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated

No - I haven't been charged for it anyway. You will get socked with an ATM withdrawal fee from whatever ATM you use (not from First IB though), so I usually just do debit to get cash back. I believe that $5 fee is if you set up some sort of automated debit payment from the ChaCha bank account (maybe like a bill pay or something). I could be totally wrong, but that was my understanding. No $5 fee for "normal" ATM or debit transactions.

Ah thank you for clarifying that for me. I use a credit union normally, so anything affiliated with the state credit union league I can use without getting charged for an ATM transaction, so I was a little concerned when I read that $5. lol

Hey Guys or should I say Guides

Since it's Friday I wanted to share a cool site that I found out in cyberspace.

I know I used to hate the "what time is Happy Hour @....." questions. Actually, I got one last night that took 11 minutes to find. I know I hope QC doesn't get me.

You only get .15 for now because you are a brand new Guide. Think of it as a "probationary period." I heard somewhere that you get bumped up to .20 after 1000 searches. It won't take you too long to get to that 1000. I have been a ChaCha Guide for a few weeks now. I don't spend much time doing it each day, but I am already up to 600 searches.

It's 1000 at 92% accuracy and at least 30 days. If you don't make it in the first 30 days, they will review in another 30 days!

I am in the middle of training to take the simulator test and was downloading Adobe flash and the Cha Cha toolbar when somehow I landed on my profile page and now I have a pop up saying I have an SMS query! Does this mean that is the simulator test? I am not ready for that yet! I haven't event got the videos yet!

What do I do? I still have that popup sitting there and I don't know what to do with it! Please help!

Just hit cancel, and mark yourself as away...same thing happened to me.

Thanks so much for the info! I panicked and foolishly took the first query, which took me over five minutes to answer! I hope that doesn't go against me. Then, I had to hit cancel several times in a row because the queries kept coming in! I finally realized to put myself to Away and finished reviewing my simulator test materials.

I was really frustrated with this simulator test because a few times I got the message "you must be in a search to answer" and a few times the doorbell rang and nothing would come up! I had to log out and back in several times. I wound up completing 20 questions and for the most part, they took me around 3 minutes, with a few going over to 4 or so minutes. I did the best I could! I could really enjoy doing this as I become really comfortable with answering the queries.

I really could use the extra money, so keep your fingers crossed for me. . .a little pixie dust couldn't hurt either!

That's wonderful! Congratulations! I am hoping I will get an acceptance letter by Monday evening! I'd love to start doing this part time!
