I did my SIM test last night, and the program was running extremely slow for half of the questions. Also it cut me off and said that ChaCha was experiencing problems on my last one, but I think that it would have been #11 anyway.

Hey 4boysrus - we both took the Sim test last night! We will be watching for results at the same time. Keep us updated!

I was in the middle of my Sim test and the site wouldn't link the search text/website or go to the reply area. It timed out. I send feedback. Do you think this will effect my status?

I took my simulator test last night and it was just awful. My screen froze up during the test and I had to exit twice. Then I kept getting glitches during the search. Everytime I tried to add info to my answer a new screen would come up. I managed to answer 10 questions. It probably took me 45 to and hour to get through those 10 questions. It was very frustrating.

Has anyone been turned down after the simulator test?
I've seen some were turned down after the registration tests but I was wondering about failing the simulator test.

My Sim test went like that and amazingly enough I passed. I did send them an email explaining what happened and asked them if it would be held against me. I never got a response, but I did pass!

I logged back in and got back to answering questions. They were all rated "great" and I even did a few extras so I hope that all will be OK.

I had the number 15 stuck in my head and answered 15 questions during my simulator test and was only suppose to answer 10. Would that be a reason to fail me?

Did they change it to 10 now? It was 15 when I took my test a month or so ago.

Anyway, I took 2 or 3 extra questions when I took the test on accident and obviously I passed. So I don't think it's automatic grounds for failing or anything.

I hope not I did 16 which is WAY over the 10 but I'm crossing my fingers!

I have a question, I took my simulator test and had problems w/ pages loading, I was able to get up and get a drink and the page still load (while searching and answering) I knew I was very thorough in my answers and didn't use any black list websites. I rec. the "sorry, you failed" email so I sent an email asking if they could reevaluate my test the pages were literally taking minutes to load, I still have not rec. an email if they have but I noticed now when I log in I'm able to create a payment method. When I clicked on it to do the "Pay Me Now" it let me set it up and congratulated me on being a ChaCha guide. Does this mean they did reevaluate my sim test or is this standard even for those who failed? Thanks so much!

I might have just given a bad answer but I just got really ticked. Someone asked who owned a company and the guide could not find the answer but gave other company details. The person answered back it is "XXXXXX XXXXXX" I should know - he's my dad - HA HA!!

I replied to them that we can only give info we can find and we are supposed to answer questions they don't already know.

I would log back into the Universe and check your profile-on the top it will tell you your status.

You have to download FireFox. You can get it at mozilla (.com).

After you receive the invite to do the sim test, you should go to the KnowledgeBase and look through the information they tell you to. It should take you through step by step (read the manual, read the policies, download FireFox, etc.).

i had read the handbook, but was just clicking on the wrong part of mozilla needed to be mozilla.com nor .org

They won't fail you for taking too many- I did 10 originally, then got an e-mail telling me I'm not done! So I frantically went back and did some more, only to get an e-mail that they were in error by sending the first one! So I ended up answering about 18 questions (I also had some loading issues) and still made it.

Congratulations! They must have reevaluated you because the Pay Me Now only shows up for guides.

ETA: That's why it's so important for those of you taking the sim test to report any problems with the Universe! You don't want them thinking you're that slow.

I took the test yesterday, 10 questions, and this AM woke up to find out I am a guide. Hate having to brainstorm all those categories though!!!
