You're not stupid. Could be lots of reasons. My very bright niece did not pass the first time. She waited a week or so, set up a new email address, and registered again. She passed the second time and is getting ready to take the simulator test.

So, I passed the sim test and have starting working as a guide. You really do get a lot of "interesting" questions. I'm not sure how to handle so of this stuff.

Does anyone make any money doing this? It seems like you'd really have to answer a ton of questions.

So confused, when does top guide counting of questions start? Since they announce on Thursday, does it restart then? Or does it start Sunday to Sunday, but not announced until Thursday. I am soooo lost. I made top guide on Thursday, now I am lost on my post.
I also suddenly got 3 QC's. I did not realize I could not answer silly questions by just clicking answer on the main page so they were all telling me I can not have that as my reference. I think I did it a bunch, hopefully they won't catch them all. I don't do it now!

Today was my first day. I screwed up on 4 searches. Somehow while I was doing a search, I was disconnected or something because when I clicked on the "add this website" button at the top it gave me an error message that said I must be in a search to add the webpage? Then I couldn't find my dashboard page anymore.

Search count is Sunday to Saturday.

Pay period is Thursday noon to next Thursday noon. Those days between Sunday to Thursday are supposed to give them time to work on the top guide list. Top guide list will be coming out either on Wednesday evening or Thursday before noon.

Also, when you all have been talking about reaching "200" or "300", I thought you were talking about number of searches. But now I am not sure. I started yesterday and already did 107 searches. So maybe you were talking about dollars?

nope, they were talking about searches. You need to have at least 200 searches per week to at least attempt to qualify for TG.

You can use Encarta and Dictionary.com.

Yes, 200 searches. So you're 1/2 way there to being able to be reviewed for a TG position. You just need to complete 200 by Saturday evening.

Anyone win any of the bonuses? Or have they paid those out? I'm not seeing the contest list of winner posted, so I'm hoping they just haven't paid them out yet (since as of right now I'm not a winner. ).

Nope once you accept a question and see it then you are committed to the question. You can choose to abort the question but it will affect your quality rating!

I finally found out how to answer the tell me a racist joke last night...either of these work...

Yes that is correct it will load the page and the question will come up.
