OT- Cbc Files Lockout

I went down to the Windsor picket line on my lunch hour yesterday, and oh what wonderful memories it brought back....like the 1981 strike that lasted 17 weeks. Then there was the last strike a few years back....I was walking a picket line and I already had my permanent layoff notice in hand!! Gee I wonder why I deprogrammed the CBC channels out of my home television sets!!!

.......Just wait until the folks who hate the CBC start flaming and dumping all over us.

Won't hear anything of the kind from us:) We're a CBC TV/Radio family..from Dot in the morning, Sheila in the van, Sad goat goin' home, and the National at night..

Stay strong!

:sunny:

Thanks for the support!!!

I spent 8 hours on the picket today and my legs are a bit weary... but it'll hopefully pay off in the long-run - I will have a permanent full time job one day!

I hope you will have a permanent full time job with full benefits when all is said and done.

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to everyone for their support of CBC workers.

Both my DH and I are proud to say we work for the CBC, but after three labour disputes it is getting harder and harder to stay positive.

Tone.def and Ham-Ham I am sure we passed each other going around the building today and yesterday! Keep your spirits up and just dream about future trips to WDW! :earsboy: :sunny: Hopefully it will make it easier! :confused3

Thanks for all the good thoughts and wishes!!!

In addition to being locked out on Monday by the CBC ....
on Friday evening my family & myself were rear-ended on the 403 in Mississauga. Our mini-van is out of commission, won't be ready for at least 2 weeks. We were planning on driving the van to Pittsburgh on Sunday & flying to MCO on Monday for 13 days in Orlando, 5 at Pop Century & 7 at Sheraton Vistana.

Taking a rental to the U.S. is a big pain. So we are all going to squeeze into our Honda Accord for the drive to Pittsburgh.

What is one thing we must do at WDW & what's the one thing we should avoid at WDW?

How do you folks get the count down ticker to work?

See you on the picket line on Sept 6
