OT: car seat question

My son is going to outgrow his infant seat soon.

I've already purchased the Britax Diplomat (compact version of the Boulevard).

My question: he gets very sweaty when he stays in his infant seat for any length of time. It is a snugride and I guess the fabric insulates him very well. I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Britax breathes more? Will he get as sweaty? (Obviously he won't be in it as long as he could be in the infant seat since the new car seat doesn't pop in and out of the car and doesn't attach to the stroller....) I was just wondering especially with warmer weather right around the corner.

Thanks for any help you can give.... Maybe I'll just have to invest in more bath products!

We have the same issue- DS is in the Graco Safeseat that is black/grey/red, and I'm sure this problem will only get worse as the weather gets warmer. I don't have an answer to your question though- I also bought his new carseat- got the Marathon. I was hoping to keep him in his Safeseat for the whole first year, but bought the other seat since the deals were so good last month.
