Hello :flower:

Our DD who is 4yrs has decided she just HAS to go to Wonderland! Is it worth it for this age to go there? We can get tickets for a reduced price through dh's work ($84 for two adults and her), our almost 2 yr old would be free. It still isn't a cheap day and I wonder if it is worth it? What about Centreville? Is that any better? The other place she wants to go is the Toronto Zoo, but I think in this heat most animals would prefer to sleep rather than move around (I know I would  ).

Any help or ideas really appreciated!!! :sunny:

For sure! There is alot for a 4yr old to do at wonderland. She will love the kids area and afterall there is the HUGE water park as well. It certainly would not be a waste. We took our DD when she was 4, and we are going next week with DD8 and DS2 next friday. We are ready to have a blast.........

About 3 or 4 years ago they re-vamped the kidsville area and made quite a few cool kids ride including a mini rollercoaster called Taxi Jam that gently rolls over curves, a slow moving helicopter ride called chopper chase, a "tea cups" like ride, and more, then most recently they added the Nicktoon area with a Dora ride that goes pretty high, mini bumper cars, a Jimmy Neutron spinny thing (actually a very cool ride but a little intense), and a Wild Thornberrys ride all very approriate for your child's age. There is still the old character carosell, and other mini rides which make it super easy to spend the day. However, it is hard with little ones who can tire easy to "do it all" so just be prepared to not be able to and you will be fine. We always take frozen tetra packs of juice and bottled water as it is soooo expensive in the park. I think Disney charges less. I also take fruit roll ups and things to occupy the kids while in line as they can be huge at times and hard for kids to handle after awhile. Actually, we take that as our cue to leave when my 5 year old starts to not be able to do the line up. We actually have seasons passes and have had for the past few years but we tend to go early and then again late in the season when it is not as hot and less crowded. Enjoy, it is hard not to.

Wonderland used to have a ticket that was like $24 and included a coupon book for attractions. We always found this to be enough because with young kids they never got on everything anyways. Just an FYI for anyone who doesn't need the play all day.

Definately We are going again this year. We went 2 yrs ago when my son was 3.5yrs and he loved it. I got tickets for 2 of us through airmiles for 275 airmiles per ticket. And I found a deal for a night accommodation at Best Western and 2 adult admission for $160 cdn.

You can get reduced tickets at CAA but right now they are offering if you buy a ticket they give you a free ticket

It is definitely worthwhile to go!

We have 2005 Season Passes that we purchased last year for about $60 each (DH, DD5 and myself - DS2 is free). My daughter LOVES Wonderland! There's enough in just the children's areas to keep them busy, and the waterpark is fun, too.

Since we are passholders, we normally go to Wonderland right when it first opens in the morning and stay until shortly after lunch. We're only there for about 4 hours, but by then the kids (and adults too!) are pretty tired anyway, so it works out well for us.

We had season passes last year too, and we went about 6 times or so. I pack a small lunch for us (plus the required snacks & drinks when travelling ANYWHERE with young ones) and then buy the kids a "treat" at the park e.g. ice cream or french fries. Food is very expensive there, so this helps us keep costs down.

Make sure you check out the website canadaswonderland.com for info on the kiddie rides, etc.

Have fun :)

Is this ticket deal through CAA? We are going with friends from Canada(St. Catherines) and not sure if they heard about this deal.

Yes you get them from CAA for about $35 CA but if you want the 2 for 1 you pay regular ticket price of about $60CA at the gate

Two more question, is there any coupon for this and is this only for canadians? Like I said previously that we are going with friends from St. Catherines, but we are from Niagara Falls, NY. TYIA
