Thanks so much for remembering and for the well wishes from all. Yep, 28 years ago today, also on a Friday night, I walked down the aisle to "Song of Joy" and never looked back!

Was suppose to do some running around today and then come home and either work outside or inside --- both are disaster areas --- but when I went to the mall to pay a bill, they had all these great sales and it is tax-free week on clothing and I had some gift cards with balances on them still from May and, well, I was bad.

Actually, I was good but NEVER, EVER in my entire life before did I ever buy 5 (that's right FIVE, count them - one, two, three, four, five!!!) pairs of shoes/sandals in one shopping trip!!! I don't think I ever bought five pairs of shoes/sandals or SNEAKERS included even in a one YEAR time frame!!! Oh, it was fun!

Then I bought some end of season tops. Then I went to Ethan Allen to discuss window treatment for the new living room. DH doesn't think we have to go through them to do the windows but I think we do, so I am working everything out with her and then will bring hubby in to check out what I decided. How's that sound?

Now I came home too late to work outside or inside -- both are STILL disaster areas -- because I have to make a special dinner. We were gonna go out for dinner tonight but DH comes home too late to do same because we are going to an 8 p.m. musical show locally on the island called "Fosse".

The rest of the weekend is sorta free - well, not entirely but that's enough for this posting.

Five pairs of shoes at once?! If you liked them, and they fit, good for you!! I've never done that either, but I've often read that if you find something you like, and it fits, you should buy one in every colour available! I hope I get to see a pair of them soon! Oh, did I mention I was going to be wearing a formal gown to our lunch? Since we've never met in person before, it'll help you to figure out who I am!!

We have a few Ethan Allen stores here, but I wonder if they're the same as what you have? I remember going into one once, and admiring some unique bar stools, that is until I looked at the price!! They were $5,000.00 each!!! No wonder I liked them!

I hope your special dinner turned out well, Tulirose, and that you and DH enjoy the show tonight!!

Don't you love clearance sales. My weakness. Shoes and clearance. Went shopping with the GC to the Outlet Mall. Had to check out the Coach Store, 40% off think I need a new bag.
