OT ...but in this time of giving thanks

I want to say thank you to all of you who have enriched our lives for the past few years What began as a pin hobby has gone way beyond now- we have built some wonderful friendships, shared some magical experiences and "met", maybe not in person, but online some pretty special people.
At this time of year when "families" gather together, we, indeed, give thanks for so many of you. May you have a special Thanksgiving wherever your path takes you.

It truly "all started with a mouse" in this case.

I too am thankful for all of the dear friends that I have made as a result of pin trading and the DIS. What a tremendous bonus, so unexpected and so wonderful.

Yes, I agree Caroline, there are some wonderful things to give thanks for this year. Friends on this board and all the other boards make holidays more wonderful and I will be thinking about you all while I eat more than I should.
I am giving thanks mainly because I don't have to cook, my brother decided to take over this holiday and I just have to make desserts.
My family is going to be together this year, and although we continue to miss my mom, we will be thinking about her. and all three of my boys are going to spend the holiday with me too, not running off with friends.
And tomorrow I get to babysit for my niece, nephew and my son David's stepson. We are going to decorate the 6 Gingerbread houses I constructed today. And eat too much candy.
