OT, but I'm Excited, One of My Fav Restaurants on Diners DriveIns Dives Tonight!

One of my favorite restaurants is going to be on Diners Drive Ins and Dives tonight! It's called Melt, in Lakewood (outside of Cleveland) I cannot even begin to tell you how good their food is! Their sandwhiches are to DIE for! They make this Monte Cristo, that is just out of this world! Can't wait to watch the show tonight. Of course bad thing now is I probably won't be able to get in the door anymore, always looooooooooong waits before, can't imagine what it will be like now.

Just watched, and the place looks awesome! I wish I could do a big road trip and visit all the Triple D featured restaurants...

One of our local favorites is going to be on in a month or so- Jake's Good Eats in Mint Hill, NC. They have really wonderful Southern food, done in a gourmet way.

Oh Yea. I love this show too and also want to have the time and funding to drive around to all these wonderful sounding places.

DDD was up here for its Christmas special - Fairbanks and North Pole, AK.
First time since I move here in 1991 that we did NOT have snow in late Oct. And they come to film a Christmas special.
A few days after they left, just before Halloween, we finally got some snow. Guy was prob. happier, as they did have the convertible . . . but I would have got such a kick out a seeing that with snow all around.

They went to a few of my favorite places - Big Daddy's BBQ, the Pagoda, and the Cookie Jar restaurants.

Ok, now I am hungry.

I've never been there but it is nice to see something from Cleveland in the news without being made of water yet burning or being ranked #1 in something that you don't want to even be in the top 100 of.

RnR HOF? Oh, you mean the Hard Rock Cafe without food we have down on the waterfront? If we had the induction ceremony here, like the football HOF does in Canton, I would be impressed. Having the ceremony in NY for a HOF here is just insulting.
