I don't think it can get you a scholarship because I remember looking into that. But.. It does look very good on your resume for anything.

But once again congrats on making it to the end, most have not made it.

also if you talk about it to a collage enough you can get a scolorship
somebody else in my troop wrote a sumery of their project to a collage and got a $10,000 scolarship

Congrats... that is quite an accomplishment- my ds came really close to earning his Eagle then lost interest- and never completed the project officially (he did do it- just didn't bother to submit it as an Eagle)

Make sure that Eagle Rank is on all your college applications and scholarship forms- Did you know if you were interested in the military- you automatically enter with a higher rank if a boy and earned Eagle Award or Girl and earned the Girl Scout Gold Award (which is the girl's equivalent to the Eagle)

They do this because they know you already exhibited leadership, organization, and the ability to complete a complex project.

Earning this will help towards getting into colleges and getting scholarships.
Even if the Scouts don't provide scholarships, I'm sure that there is someone out there that does give them just for becoming an Eagle Scout.
There are scholarships for almost everything!

And as Virtually Me said: "They do this because they know you already exhibited leadership, organization, and the ability to complete a complex project". Not only that, but they can tell that you can see something thru to the end. Which the military and people awarding college scholarships do look for.
