We're trying to introduce a cat to my dog and I sure wish she would pop him in the nose like that. I've got a huge Rhodesian Ridgeback and he doesn't want to hurt her, but just wants to play, but he's just so big that I worry about the cat. I think she needs to hit him in the nose once or twice and I know he would run behind me and totally leave her alone after that.

As big as my dog is, he's the first one to run behind me when he gets scared.

It took about a yr for us, but our cat finally pops the dog in the nose once in awhile. Our dog Eva is a hunting dog and has the instinct to go after prey so they are constantly supervised. The two are generally pretty good together but I'm not taking any chances. I guess I'm an overprotective furbaby mom...lol

For an adult to be that close is stupid, but to let a child that close is bordering on abuse or neglect in my book
