Question for my DIS Friends:
Do any of you own a Broyhill sofa? And if so, has it worn well? Would you buy that brand again?
I am a looking for a less expensive (but not cheap) brand of a sofa and love seat. I found a Bassett sofa I like okay, but I found a custom fabric that Broyhill has that I LOVE. I was afraid of the custom fabric sticker shock, but it only adds $115 to the sofa I was looking at that was already just $610. So $725 for a custom fabric sofa doesn't sound too out of budget for me. But, before I jump into this, I would love to hear any opinions positive or negative. I need this to last 3 years at the least (heading back to school for law), and if it lasts longer than that that would be a bonus!
I previously purchased a sofa by Max Home that I would NEVER recommend to anyone or buy again, so now I am nervous to end up with another disappointment. It was down-filled and feathers would poke out of it ALL the time. It also ended up very pilly, I think the fabric was a blend and that may be why? The Broyhill fabric is 100% polyester so the salesperson assured me it would not pill - hopefully that is true.
