OT-Birthday Party Question (need advice)

DS will be 3 in July and we are having his Birthday Party at a local amusement park (kind of like a miniature Six Flags...but half the area is geared to Toddlers).

My question is what time should I have it? The park opens at 11am. I will have exclusive use of the Party Room for 1 1/2. I'm not sure what time I should put on the invitation. The park will surely start getting crowded at Noon.

But is it normal to have a Birthday Party to start at 11am?

The Ages of the kids invited range from 1-17.

2nd Question- Does the wording of this invitation sound like I am begging my guests to come? My mother says it does.


"You are exclusively invited to join us for the 3rd Birthday Celebration of DS.

Where: Dixieland Fun Park
Time: Meet us in the Party Room from 12-1:30 (still not sure of time)

As our honored guest, you will be honored with 3 rides of your choice anywhere in the park and 15 game tokens"

That's all I've written, is it *needy*? Can you critique it for me?

Well first Id put a name not DS

I assume its a free to enter park and ya pay for each ride?

As for words- I dont like the exclusivly part and using honored twice within 6 words doesnt flow- If you want to use honored in the first part and phrase it more after cake and icecream we'll provide tickets (or whatever) for 3 rides along with 15 game tokens to use.

I've had parties for my DD starting as early as 10:30 because she was best early in the day. Frankly I'd have it at whatever time is best for your DS's schedule. I probably would leave off the honored stuff and just put that each party guest will get 3 ride and 15 game tokens. It's helpful for parents to know what's included so they can decide whether they want to lay out $ for more rides and stuff.
