OT. Best campground in New England?

We liked Acres of Wildlife in Steep Falls, ME. Yes, it is out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere but it is a fully equipped camping resort. It is right on Rainbow Lake which has a gentle sloping beach for the youngest swimmers. My favorite memory of that place is the many dragonflies and damselflies that would alight on you like the most delicate jewelry. It would explain why we never saw a single mosquito despite being across the road from the lake. It has an awesome playground too.

We did Bayleys in ME last year. We enjoyed the campground and beach, but the site that we had was very small and difficult to get into. Since we did the beach last year we are planning to go to the Lake George RV park for 3 days in August. That gets us the lake, campground activities and it is a short distance to The Great Escape which is a six flags park. It looks like we will camp two nights at Lake Bomoseen Campground as it is on our way to Lake George, NY. It looks like a nice campground and we enjoy trying new ones. The Lake George Rv Park is pricey, moreso than FW, but comparable to Bayleys.
