Hello hello!!

I would like to get my nephew some books for Christmas. He is only 15 months old.

Can anyone recommend any baby/toddler books that would be available from Chapters.ca?

Thank you!! :thumbsup2

Spot the Dog Lift the flap books. All three of my kids loved any kind of lift the flap books! Anything with animals or babies (pictures) in it they seem to love at that age and anything with short repetition.

Too this day I still have this weird obsession with pop-up books. Not good for a 15 month old but I still love these! I got my ds a beautiful WDW pop-up book for his 4th b-day. Each pop-up covers 2 pages and is of each one of the WDW parks and the 2 waterparks. Totally OT I know but I still love them!

Even at a youong age, he will enjoy the rhythm and beat of:

Brown Bear, Brown Bear (Bill Martin Jr.)
Chicka, Chicka, Boom Boom (Bill Martin Jr.)
Good Night, Moon (Brown)
Pat the Bunny (Kunhardt)
Pat the Christmas Bunny (Kunhardt Davis)

Lots of great stuff!

I Love You Forever is one of my favourite Robert Munsch Books. I still sing it to my youngest ds!

those are all very good suggestions.

drag n' fly, "love you forever" gets me all choked up every time. I knew there was a song to it but I don't know it. Do you know someonewhere online that I could listen to it? or maybe you can call me and sing it in my answering machine. LOL

Has some great board books that are half the price of Chapters.ca, such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Big Red Barn, Some Thomas the Tank Engine ones, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, Dr.Seuss....

BTW... Brown Bear, Brown Bear is actually wriiten by Eric Carle. It's Madigan's Fav.... don't even have to turn the page and she knows the next animal and the color of it. She's been doing this since she was 14 months....

Any time sugar!;)

Brown Bear, anything by Sandra Boynton (sp) and if Love you forever gets you choked up try Guess how much I love you? Great story and my 7yo and 12.5yo boys still play the 'guess how much I love you' at bed time

Written by Bill Martin Jr. Illustrated by Eric Carle. Doesn't matter because it is an awesome book for wee ones. :Pinkbounc I use the pattern all the time at school for class/personal books throughout the year. :goodvibes
