I've been seeing the terrible fires you have in California at the moment, and I just wanted to check you west coast swappers are all OK It all looks so scary and I hope you're all well away from the danger

I hope none of the scrap stores get hit, or that could be really serious!

I was explaining to my kdgr just why we shouldn't be complaining about all our rain. He can now say "Santa Ana winds" and know what it means. We are up high enough that all we have to worry about is ground water flooding the basement. No really flooding in this area.

But trying to explain over 500 homes burned and thousands of people constantly moving away from the fires is hard. I hope everyone stays safe.
