OT: anyone watch Ugly Betty?

Since I post and read here regularly, this is the only place I can think of to write. I feel cheated by tonight's premiere and wish DH was home ... how can Santos be dead? It's not fair to have this kind of storyline on a 'comedy'. I was feeling so good for Hilda and thought everything was going to be OK for her.

I know it's a bit much to get this upset but I did not anticipate this at all. I feel like crap and can't stop crying.

I waited all summer for tonight and feel totally let down. I kinda knew Santos was dead. But tonight was just disappointing.

I couldn't figure out why shy put on her wedding dress and he read her his vows....now I understand and I was so sad!

Well, it was certainly a Bobby Ewing on "Dallas" moment...only in reverse!

Even though "Ugly Betty" is hilarious, it also project greats emotion through dramatic elements. I love that. Last night's show packed an emotional wallop and the element of surprise worked for me. I didn't feel cheated at all; however, I DID feel cheated when Bobby stepped out of the shower. Oh well, get out the tissues.

He was on a summer replacement show about driving. I think it was called drive. I thought since he had a new job he was going to be dead. Too bad his show was cancelled.

I agree, the Hilda/Santos storyline was so disappointing. I was so pleased that he would still be in the show. The way that presented that didn't seem to fit in with the show.
But I loved the scene in the elevator where Michael was watching Amanda and her Dad ?? Bradford. Their timing was perfect!
