OT - Anyone see the thread on Restaurants Board?

Ugly thread on restaurant board about new dining procedures. Apparently Disney is changing ps from 120 to 180 days out for those who book a package with LOS passes and 90 days for those who have room only and are off property.

Just thought I would mention it over here in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Yep, saw that. I have two DSs, so Cindy's was never a big deal for us, BUT, some of the others are. They are going to p*ss quite a few people off, especially DVC'ers and AP holders. At least AP holders don't have to renew their passes, but DVC'ers pay Disney a pretty penny and should be rewarded such, not punished.

Disney nixed the idea. They are doing PS on just about everything 90 days out. Check out pscalculator.net

I just finished reading the update on the thread and was coming to post.

It is great news isn't it. I'm glad I went thru the trouble of emailing them twice because the first time I used Scotts link and it was bounced back because they were "doing a upgrade" which was probably actually our "inboxes are overloaded" and then I went to the disney.com site and copied my returned email into there link to WDW Resort. I guess with everyone voiceing their opinions they actually listened for a change.

I would say that it's about time they did!

Sure am glad Disney didn't go through with this not so great idea. They definitely would have been hearing from our group of 8. Thanks Disney for not going through with your original plan!

We bought into DVC because we like to vacation at Disney but I can certainly tell you it wasnt because of all the wonderful perks we receive but there really arent any. This would have been one more straw on that poor camels back.
