OT- Anyone ever know someone who has been on a reality show?

I never watched "Temptation Island," but used to watch "A Wedding Story" all the time when I was planning my wedding. Followed by "A Baby Story."

The closest for me is that I was on that show Nick News with Linda Ellerbee and tried out for Who Wants to be a Millionaire. I didn't pass the test though.

There is about as much "real" in real world as there is "reality" in the vast majority of reality television.

I know someone who has tried out for pilots of reality shows but no one that ever made it.

The only thing I watch that I would call reality is Amazing Race and I would love to be on it.

My Second Cousins were on the Amazing Race. Two Girls. They got stuck trying to find the next clue in a haystack. I think it was the first time Phil came back to the contestants to tell them they had been eliminated. It's too bad, because they could have been pretty good. Sometimes you just need luck on that show. I like it, though.

I remember that episode. I felt so bad for them. I have heard of bad luck but that was horrible. I love that show!

I liked the first 4 episodes of Real World. I watched till Real World Key West thou.

A girl i went to high school with was on "fear factor".. I think she made it to the second round.. LOL

Also, when I was pregnant with my son, there was another woman pregnant with twins on our sheknows message board due at the same time. It was her third set of twins and she had 11 kids already.. Discovery channel ended up doing a few shows about her, one of them called "twins, twins and more twins".. not sure if that counts as I only knew her from the message board though.. LOL
