I was just wonder whether anyone has flown with their hockey equipment? My husband is planning on attending a Tournament in Tampa and I wasn't sure if he would be able to check his hockey bag. We will be flying Southwest. Maybe I should give Southwest a call.:confused3

Is stinky hockey gear now on the TSA no fly list?
Just make sure the skates are dull.:thumbsup2

We have flown twice with Southwest with my son's equipment and never had a problem. (We flew once with Air Canada and we had problems with the equipment not returning. ) You can check the bag like the suitcases and you check the sticks also. If you don't have a stick bag they provide long bags that they use for skis. One thing Air Canada told me was that airlines are not responsible for sporting equipment at all so you are checking it at your own risk.
