OT: Another request for pixie dust

I'm happy to hear she's doing OK. :cheer2:

More pixie (stick) dust, hugs and prayers for a quick recovery. :grouphug:

Then Vicky's sister and I went to Vicky's house to herd the cats into crates ... We had seven cats to herd. :rotfl2:

OMG Q! I am fairly certain I would have paid money to watch that! Even in serious situations - humor has a way to find its place. That would have been hysterical to see. :happytv:

Glad to hear she's on the way up!

I visited Vicky last night. She is doing great and making a lot of progress. I think she's really working hard at healing from her surgery so she can go home faster. She's still amused by all of the pixie-stick dust you have sent! :rotfl2:

She still needs a lot of assistance with almost everything but she's able to do some things on her own now. She's getting up on her own but the process is exhausting. Did I say what her surgery was for? She had both of her knees replaced. It's mega painful and it's difficult to bend her legs. She has a machine that repeatedly does that for her but her legs don't have the full range of motion yet. She did take a couple of shuffling steps without her walker last night so I accused her of "showing off" for me. :rotfl:

I expect to be spending a lot of time with Vicky over the next few days so I may not be on VMK or the Dis very much. I'll try to keep you updated though.

Vicky says, "Thank you!" again for all of the pixie-stick dust!

Wow that is major recovery. They will only do one knee at a time here. I know someone that had both done and one healed right away and the other took about a year. So don't worry it will be ok,may just take longer. Speedy recovery to her. pixiedust: :disrocks:
