OT...An extra prayer for Peggie, please. Update:Thurs update

Talked to her just a few minutes ago and she was heading back to the hospital . Her fever had risen to 102 and the doctor wanted her back in to check her blood levels. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks. Caroline

Had a chance to talk to Peggie tonight- she is still in the hospital - said when they admitted her last night her white blood count was 1,000, when the normal count is between 12,000-16,000. Her potassium level was extremely low so she's had 6 potassium pills and an IV to boost her level. The best part is that her attitude is very positive. I told her that positive attitude is what will hasten her recovery. Will be chatting again tomorrow and i'll be sure to send along all your wishes too. Caroline

The nice thing is that each update gets better. Peggie's white count is up and her doctor hopes to have her home tomorrow if the last tests they do in the morning have good results. So...she can chat with you herself the next time. Have a great Friday everyone. Caroline
