OT- American Storm by Bob Seger

I caught the video today, I vaguely remember seeing it in the 80's with actors in it. Guys like James Woods, but the version I saw today just had him playing. Am I remembering it wrong or was there 2 versions?

I remember the concert version of the video. Not a big Bob Seger fan but I liked that song.
Never knew that it was about drug abuse until I heard someone discuss the song at a party and payed closer attention to the lyrics.
