Does anyone have the Amazon.ca Visa from Chase? Just wondering if there are any other perks besides the points (2 points for every $1 spent on Amazon.ca, 1 point for every $1 spent elsewhere)? I keep getting this pop up everytime I shop on Amazon.

Yes if you shop in the USA you will not be charged foreign exchange fees with this card. I use this card on our Disney trips.

Really? Ok that alone makes it more interesting to me. I do a lot of grocery shopping across the border in Bellingham WA so that would come in handy. Plus for our upcoming Disney cruise/trip to DL. :goodvibes

If you have a Sears (Canada) Mastercard, it also has no foreign transaction fees and no annual fee.

No, I currently have a PC Financial mastercard so I earn a lot of points on my day to day spending etc to earn free $$ to spend in Loblaws stores.

We're the same. All our domestic household purchases go onto the PC MasterCard and we use all the PCPlus offers too to maximize points. Gets us a full grocery shop for free every couple of months.

Our Amazon cards sit in our passport cases and are popped into the wallet every time we hit the US. Saving the exchange fees (plus the cash back!) is a better deal than getting more PC Points.

Chase actually has 3 cards that don't charge exchange. The Sears MC, The Marriott Visa, and the Amazon Visa. Pick the one that gives YOU the most benefits.

Instead of using your pcpoints for groceries, take the night out. Buy gift cards with it, we treat ourselves to the Keg. But there is so many others.:thumbsup2

Yeah, baby sitters are in short supply for us, so a night out is nearly non existent these days. Free groceries is more satisfying LOL

Nights out? That's crazy talk! We take the grocery savings and put it into our Disney savings. Come on, a family has to have priorities... :rotfl2:

Happy New Year DISsers! May 2015 bring you all fun visits to WDW!

A co-worker of mine makes use of the Marriott Visa. It has an annual fee, but you get a free night stay every year. He uses the card for his road trip down to Disney each year. Uses the free night on the way down, and gets credits for the stop on the way back. Every few stays he gets enough points for another free stay

No one said anything about babysitters. We take them with us to the keg. dd3,dd7 They have a great meal each for $10, and we get great food. By the way love how the pcpoint extras add up quick.:grouphug:

Since they started the new portion of their program - loading points offers to your card each week - I earn points even faster now. Plus my mom lives in our basement suite so I take her grocery shopping at least once a week and she lets me use my points card on her grocery bills as well :)
