OT - Alzheimer's bracelet?

Sorry, not disney related at all but you guys have so much experience on this board, I thought someone here could help. I guess I could add something Disney ..... This is a request for my Aunt. She took her 2 kids and 2 grandkids to Disney for spring break last year. It was her first trip ever, she is almost 70. There, worked Disney into it

My Uncle is suffering from the early stages of Alzheimers. It is starting to get worse. I was trying to help my Aunt find something for him to wear in case he wonders off and can't remember who he is/where he lives.

I came across this. Are the fees worth it or would just a bracelet be fine? Does anyone have any suggestions or BTDT experience?

I wear a medic alert bracelette because I am Diabetic. It is good to wear one of these because they are almost universally known. It might not be a bad idea to get another bracelet to accompany it. There is a website called Child Identification Wristbands that has an area specifically for Alzheimers patients. worth every penny. my mil neeed this (so did my grandmother) and both used it several times. it is a safe and respecful way for police/medical personell to help them. it is discreeet and dignified.

We got my grandmother a medic-alert type bracelet. It was engraved with her name and a contact number and the fact that she was an Alzheimers patient. It was such a relief knowing she was wearing that bracelet !

Safe return is very worth it....it has returned many alz loved ones. If you have any questions please call your local alzheimers association chapter for more info..or PM me (my mom works for the RI chapter)
