OT: A Little Crime Prevention

Please be careful............I have been involved in numerous calls in the Chicagoland Area in which a male subject tells someone he is a marine who just came back from Iraq and is low on cash. A good hearted person will take him to a cash station and when the person gets some cash out the so called "marine" takes out a weapon and commits a robbery.

Remember never give anyone a ride that you don't know. Its hardcore, but it will keep you safe.

If you think someone needs help, call the police. We will be happy to arrange a ride or shelter. Hopefully they won't try and rob us.

Just trying to keep everyone safe.

I'm wary of any stranger approaching me. I guess I'm a cynic who doesn't trust anyone. Seems like a good thing.
