If it will make the company money, yes..... Do we really truly need one?? Nope...Why do I have a feeling that if a movie is made with Oswald, Disney Feature Animation will some how ruin how Walt intended Oswald to be?

I'm pretty sure Walt wasn't in his visionary stage at that time.

I say who cares, let them do it. If it's done well, then it's worth it. If it's done poorly, well, then it's no worse then most of what they've been doing lately.

I have not seen any of the Oswald cartoons but I seem to recall from reading Walt's Biography that Oswald was a bit of a trickster and a happy go lucky type of guy...as opposed to Mickey who is Mr Nice Guy and more of a reflection of Walt himself.

The toy looks pretty cool and would would be nice to seen something from Oswald since he is back in the fold. I don't know about a movie???

I couldn't agree with you more. Who cares? Although thats probably not a good sign for a movie, but....

DH and I was discussing how interesting it would be to have a feature film where Mickey goes looking for his long lost "cousin" Oswald (since Disney hasn't been able to use him for so long.) They meet and its all warm and fuzzy- bring a kleenex. Then he gets introduced to the whole disney family. Oswald can then torment Donald in a much more intentional way than Mickey ever has- all the while looking completely innocent to Mickey.

really, whats wrong with Brother Bear? I liked it a lot more than many of the newer films.
