Hi all!
Today I found out that I have osteoporosis (I guess that explains why I got a couple of stress fractures...)
Of course I will ask my doctors this ... but do you think I can run again?
I'm reading that weight bearing exercise, including running, is actually good for osteoporosis. but I have to see. Do any of you have experience with this? Or perhaps some of you have osteoporosis and run?
Thanks!

I have a strong family history of osteoporosis and was diagnosed with osteopenia (beginning stages of osteoporosis) many years ago. My doctor is very supportive of my walking and we both feel that my walking has been one of the reasons that my osteopenia has not progressed into osteoporosis. Of course you should talk it over with your doctor first, but I wouldnt let osteoporosis stop you from doing goofy. Im planning on doing goofy in 2014 as well. Lets show everyone that you can have a bone disease and still do goofy!
