I saw the Osbourne Lights a few years ago. I can not remember what time we had to be at MGM to experience the glasses/snow, etc.

We plan to use the DDP so I need to plan more this trip. If we eat at Epcot, what time would we need to eat to be able to walk to MGM?

OLights start about Sunset (when else COULD they start?).
Sunset in Orlando that time of year is approx. 6pm.

And MGM closes approx. 7pm that time of year.
And Fantasmic! generally begins at 7pm that time of year.

So plan leaving Epcot to arrive at MGM before 6pm.

NOTE:
Even when the rest of MGM is closed for the night, OLights are usually still OPEN so the guests exiting from Fantasmic! can view them for quite a while. So you could do that as well.

They COULD start at 6,7,8,9:00 - (LOL)

Thanks for your answer. I'll plan to be there by 5 or 6.
