Osbourne Lights after Fantasmic?

We will be at WDW Nov. 28 to Dec 4 We were there the same time frame last year, but the Osbourne Lights were closed.

There was only 1 showing of Fantasmic that early in the holiday season. So can you see the lights after FAntasmic or are all of the attractions closed by the time Fantasmic is over?

We've done the lights after Fantasmic several times. That's a good time to go since it's not so crowded.

We went to the Osbone lights right after Fantasmic in early Dec 01. Us and several thousand other people! They were absolutely wonderful though.

I wasn't there last year at Christmas, but I remember reading lots of posts about everyone's disappointment that the Osborne lights were not up last year. So it wasn't that they were closed after Fantasmic, it is that they were not up at all. I think this was due to the changes in the Backlot and the removal of the house fronts. From other posts I have seen, when they are up - they can be seen after Fantasmic.

If there is an afterhours event, they will sometimes close down the lights early. This happened to us one time, they had a sign posted at the entrance that they will close promptly at 7:00pm. I think they showed Fantasmic earlier in 2002, more like 6:30pm to give people more time after to see the lights.

Yes! Disney anticipates guests wanting to be able experience both in one night, and can be easily done.
