Anyone know? I am now thinking about an early January trip! Thanks!

Wow! I didn't realize it was that early! Hmmm....if that's the case I am not so sure what I will do. Anyone remember them being up past the 2nd of January?

As far I'm concerned the new show shouldn't be put back up. It was poor to say the least. Sorry, not trying to be a downer. It is just one of the things I look forward to seeing. And it is not at all what it used to be. :sad2:

During the 2005-2006 season, they're scheduled to be up until January 8. Last year, they were only going to be up until January 2. I saw them that night, then went again during the day on January 3. Everything was still up then, but I don't know if they were lit at night on the 3rd.

Jan. 2 was the last day this year. It was also the first day of EMH at MGM. We hit MGM about 1/2 hr after the lighting time and it was seriously jammed. I agree this a former poster that Osbourne was not worth the effort. We were so underwhelmed we glanced down the street, turned right around and headed to PI.

Simba's Mom, were you at MK a day or two later decked out in all Lime Green, pushing a carriage?

So, Christmas 2003 they were cancelled. Christmas 2005 they had changed and were not the same? We had seen them Christmas 2000 and 2001--or was it 2002? Oh, well, I did not know they had changed. I am disappointed to hear that. You are saying that you had seen them other years and 2004 was not the same, correct?
Thanks!

I really hope they are up to the 8th. We always go in the summer, this year DH is running the marathon so we get to go in January also. I've never seen the lights. We get there on January 6th so I would love to go and see them. BTW does anyone know when the Christmas decorations come down? We're staying at WL and would love to see the decorations there. Thanks.

Nope, We're in between the carriage stage. Kids are grown, but no grandchildren yet. Don't my kids know to hurry up! Mom wants to be a grandmother here (although I wouldn't dare say anything-don't really want them to hurry!

Anyone? Has the quality of the display gone significantly down compared to previous years?
