Osborne Lights not working on Christmas

The lights weren't working tonight. Some of the CM's at the turnstiles were mentioning it but mine didn't. It wasn't raining so I wonder why they weren't working? We took some friends to see them so I was disappointed they didn't get to see them.

hmmm that's odd! Brave you going into the parks tonight! How were the crowds? I'm headed to EPCOT tomorrow morning.

Actually MGM wasn't too bad. We went to Epcot last night and the crowds weren't bad either.

Yea, we were disappointed to see that they weren't working either. We talked to a CM who said that because the lights aren't commercial grade, they don't run them with the rain.

I can't believe they weren't working on Christmas! How disappointing!!

The Disney area got a ton of rain yesterday. I'm sure there were lots of wires running through water last night up on the roofs of the buildings. That's probably why there was no show last night.

I know on the 14th there was a torential downpour that knocked out a bunch of lights. When we were at MGM on the 15th there were alot of lights not working. I'm sure they didn't want to take their chances. So sad not to be able to see them.
