I'm preparing for my second trip to Disney World and first trip during the Holiday season and was curious what time the Osborne Family Lights generally go on in Hollywood Studios.

The day I was planning on going there in November it looks like Hollywood Studios closes at 7. I want to make sure I get a chance to see them and plan my rides around that.

Thanks :)

Around 6:15p-6:30p or so.

Thanks! Since the park is closing a little early that day (7 instead of what looks like the normal 8), any idea if they won't put them on?

They should still show them. In my experience, they light up around 6:00 and sometimes stay on past park close unless there is an after hours event.

We often stay there until they shut the lights down which barring a special event, seems to be exactly 1-hour after park close. Very easy to head there right at park close and still get a nice amount of time (again - double check when you're there about any event that might change that).

The rumor started because of another rumor saying they were closing the NY Street, Stunt Stadium and Backlot Tour to make room for the construction of Star Wars land or Carsland. Since nothing has come out about that, they should be safe this year. If anything, they will be relocated (as they were when Residential Street was closed).

There isn't an official time, it's just whenever it gets dark. 6 to 6:30 is a good bet usually. Normally the lights are open an hour after the park closes, but if the park closes at 7 there might be a special event that night in which case they'll probably sweep you out right at closing.

It just depends!
