This will be our first year down to see the Osborne Christmas lights and wondering how bad it is to navigate the area with a stroller. Also with it being the last year they are doing them do you think the crowds will be worse? We will be traveling Dec 8-12 this year. Is there a better day of the week to see them?

3. Is there a better day of the week to see them?

1. Can be a crush of guests.
2. Could be.
3. Avoid Fri & Sat.

I think I would park the stroller somewhere and just carry the child if possible. Might be easier. Depends on how crowded it is.

In addition to the above advice, I'd consider going later in the evening. There always seems to be a huge crowd waiting for them to be turned on. After they've been on for a while, the folks move along.

I also recommend waiting until they have been on; later is better. The far end also has a photo pass setup with a line with people waiting for their picture. this area particularly gets busy... None the less take advantage. Note that among the holiday lights there is a hidden black cat in lights. something to have the kiddies search for... Have fun!

you won't be able to navigate easily.
i've never taken a stroller to see the lights but in 2012 my mom did need a wheelchair because she needed a knee replacement in the worst way and it was an absolute nightmare because instead of letting people just walk where they wanted it was more like a "line ride" it was a mass of people that had to walk through and when people would stop to take a pic you literally could not move.
if at all possibly i'd leave the stroller behind.

i'm sure there will be even bigger crowds now that it is the final year but maybe not the dates you are going since its after thanksgiving and before christmas.

as mentioned before... try to avoid the weekend but hey if it works out better for you to go on a weekend then so be it.

I will also be travelling with a stroller. Single, at least. Sorry to hijack, but looking for similar advice! We currently have the lights scheduled for Christmas Eve, but have the option to hop to see them instead on 12/21 or 22. Any advice there? None of those dates are Fri. or Sat., but all look like crowd levels of 9 or 10. Going late isn't likely, as we have a 3 year old (at least on 12/24 there are EMH until 10:30). This has me leaning towards one of the earlier nights with park closure at 8:00. We could swing that.

We've always taken a stroller and I don't recall having any problems. We go during the week because I find weekends to be busier, and the later you can see the lights, the better. But we've always been fine with a stroller.

We were there with a stroller last year and it was just fine. We did take our daughter out and held her for a bit so she could see better, but having the stroller wasn't a problem. We'll be there with the stroller again this year!
