Am I saying it right? I know I saw a thread here about it before.

I was at the World last month nd decided to wear my Clarks leather flip flops which pretty much worked out ok (sneakers at night when it got cool). The problem was after I got home, it took my feet about 3 weeks to feel back to normal. I needed much more of an arch than the little one on the flip flops.

I have tried the crocs but again, I think the arch is too small. I usually add an insole to one shoe on closed shoes, but can't do it on the crocs.

Do the orthopedic crocs have a better arch? Where can I get them??? I am going back this fall and am willing to be less fashionable for a little more comfort.

Thanks!
Patti

I think what you are refering to is crocs RX. I have never worn these but I have arch problems and wear reg crocs and they are the best shoes for my feet. It is to the point where I can not walk around with bare feet because the crocs feel better.

I am glad someone else s addicted. I have plantar facitous sp? and I use my crocs as house shoes too. The only come off when I get into bed, and go on as soon as I am up.

You may want to investigate a non-custom orthotic to fit into a shoe. You can get Super Feet at runner's stores for about $40. I started with Super Feet for my plantar fasciitis and put them into my Keen shoes (the insole that comes with the shoe can be taken out to put in your orthotic. After a trip to a podiatrist on an unrelated issue, I was cast for custom orthotics. What a world of relief. The Super Feet gave me relief, but there is nothing like giving your feet exactly what they need. I do put my orthotics in my crocs to wear around the house, but they make the croc too shallow for any distance walking. The Keens work perfectly.

Ah, my mid 30's at really hitting me now! :scared1:

You can buy them on the Crocs website and I think Shoebuy.com also carries them.
My DH was in the hospital earlier this week and we saw alot of Nurses and some Docs wearing them-

Look on the budget board- sometimes there are discount codes for the above sites.

I'm glad I saw this thread as this information is very useful for me. I will try looking on the Crocs website for these shoes.

I'm a big crocs fan and recently bought the Crocs RX from Footsmart. To be quite honest, I don't notice a real big difference between them and the regular crocs.
