My 11yo DD had spacers put in today, they are little blue things that will make room between her teeth for a metal spacer in a couple of weeks.
One of them is really bothering her, she can't bite on that side at all. They said it would make it uncomfortable so I'm telling her that is normal but thought I'd check to make sure I wasn't lying
I can only imagine how she is going to be when she gets her real braces if this is her reaction to just these.
Is it going to be a long couple of years???? She has a pretty bad overbite so braces are definately in her future.

No amount of pain killers could alleviate the pain.
