ORNAMENT EXCHANGE * Any Preferences?

Hi everyone,

I would love to do this! This is my first time, so could someone please tell me how it works? The kind of ornaments I like are Disney ones(Mickey,Minnie,Lilo and Stitch,etc.). My one tree is done all in Disney ornaments! I also really like Angel ones too.

I don't really have a theme tree, but I love shaped ornaments. I am building my collection of Disney and other character ornaments.

TarraLee, I love memory ornaments too. Last year was our first married tree as well. I filled in the tree with ball ornaments, but can't wait for the day when all of the balls are replaced with memory ornaments.

I can' t wait to go shopping for my person's ornament!

So glad to see my "ornamentee" posted. (borrowed from princessariel - that was cute!)

So, if my 'ornamenter' wants an idea....I really have no suggestions. Our tree has sooo many different ornaments that I love soo much! Handmade, Hallmark, Disney, Precious Moments, dated, special occasions...you name it! I do keep one silver glass ball ornament (stole it from my Mom) so that we can make faces into it every year! (try it, it's hysterical!) There you have it..whatever is sent will surely fit in with my misfit tree!

Can't wait to shop myself!

Come on Dis'ers!!!!! We need imput. We have four exchange names in our family and none of our exchangees have posted. We are in great need here. Please post or you are at our mercy! We love shopping for Christmas ornaments. This is our favorite time of the year!!

I love just about anything. I guess you could say our style is "eclectic". The only thing we don't have on the tree is traditional Christmas balls. I tossed them several years ago when we collected so many other ornaments we didn't need them anymore. We both teach Sunday School so we've gotten quite a few handmade treasures from the kids. They are always great to bring back memories...

Hiya

Spoke to my Mum and she said that she would love anything!!! She is really excited (this is her first exchange)

She buys Disney ornaments on every trip to WDW and has a few that friends have brought back from there too.... mostly the annual globe ornaments. She loves the idea of a 'regional' ornament as she always gets one wherever she goes - its a hobby She has some from Washington and New York too (loves her Rockerfella Centre one) etc etc.. Anything will be great!!

For me it doesn't matter what kind of ornament i get. I have one that came from Germany and we use it every year. I will like what ever my person sends to me.

Oops, sorry, I just found this thread. Let's see, I collect snowmen, but I love Christmas, so anything would be great. Oh yes, I also looove sparkly things, glittery and light reflecting. I have lots of Disney ornaments, Hallmark ornaments, homemade ornaments, memorabilia ornaments such as the year the kids were born, and the year DH and I got married, and ornaments for my pets, and so on. It's quite an eclectic arrangement! In short, I'm very easy to please.

My tree has all sorts of ornaments. I have lots of Disney from different trips there. I love anything Christmas! It's my favorite holiday and look forward to pulling out the ornaments each year and remembering where they came from.
